Hong Kong Youth are now eligible for Open Work Permit
What Is Open Work Permit?
It is a criminal offense to work in Canada without proper authorization, which could lead to deportation.
Prior to applying for a work permit, you must first have accepted a job offer in Canada, and obtained a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) from your employer.
To obtain a LMIA, your employer must go through all the extra steps and file an application with Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
On the contrary, an Open Work Permit lets you work for any employer in Canada, and you do not need a job offer and a LMIA to apply.

*If you are a Hong Kong Residents who meets the eligibility, whether you are residing in Canada or abroad, you are now qualified to get an Open Work Permit.
You do not need any Canadian education or work background to apply.
